The Kyoto Prize Presentation Ceremony will be held at the Kyoto International Conference Center on November 10, 2010. At the Ceremony, each Laureate will be presented with a diploma, a Kyoto Prize Medal (20K gold), and prize money of 50 million yen per category.

Inamori Foundation held a Press Conference to make the Announcement of the Laureates for the 2010 Kyoto Prize at the Inamori Center of Kyoto University. At the conference, Shun-ichi Amari (Chairman, Kyoto Prize Executive Committee), Tasuku Honjo (Chairman, Kyoto Prize Committee in Advanced Technology), Heisuke Hironaka (Chairman, Kyoto Prize Committee in Basic Sciences), and Shuji Takashina (Chairman, Kyoto Prize Committee in Arts and Philosophy) explained the details of the new laureatesf achievement.
