I wish you a happy new year. We deeply appreciate your continued support toward the activities of the Inamori Foundation.
In the year ahead, we will continue to contribute to society through three main activities: the Kyoto Prize, Research Grants, and Social Contributions.
This year marks the 41st awarding of the Kyoto Prize. Building on the progress we have made up to now, we will strive even more earnestly to realize the Prize’s philosophy. In the area of Research Grants, we will expand the existing Inamori Research Grants and begin to provide funding under two newly established programs, “Incubate” and “Accelerate”. In the area of Social Contributions, we will continue to encourage children’s discoveries and provide opportunities to experience the beauty of music through INAMORI Music Day.
