INAMORI Music Day

Since 2022, the Inamori Foundation has been conducting “INAMORI Music Day,” a program dedicated to promoting culture and the arts in partnership with the City of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra. This initiative was inspired by a desire to provide citizens and students with opportunities to enrich their lives by rediscovering the wonder of the arts and culture.

Every year on November 3 (Culture Day), we host a concert featuring the City of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra and artists active on the international stage. To share the joy of music even further, we also organize a series of events including the Mini Concerts and the School Concert & Lesson, in which guest artists visit a local school.
