The Inamori Foundation starts to accept registration for the Inamori Grants and Inamori Research Institute for Science (InaRIS) Fellowship.
The Inamori Grants
This program is to support the various research activities, foster the potential of the domestic young researchers in the natural sciences and the humanities and social sciences, and create the opportunity to challenge the greater theme. (40 for the natural sciences, 10 for the humanities and social sciences; 1 million yen per theme; support for one or two years)
Inamori Research Institute for Science (InaRIS) Fellowship
This program was inaugurated in 2019 to support the researchers in the field of basic sciences, who could tackle their research theme of grand vision and high potential for a long term basis, so that the researchers could deliver the successful results of academic impact. We intend to create an opportunity contributing to the great academic development. Furthermore we would like to broadly inform those academic developments across the society, support the quest for truth driven by intellectual curiosity, and create a cultural mindset that social significance of basic sciences would be fully respected.
