“INAMORI Music Day 2022” is a series of events which creates opportunities for everyone to enjoy music, presented by the Inamori Foundation cooperating with the City of Kyoto Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Peter Stephen Paul Brook, a stage director who has exerted an extraordinary, worldwide influence over theater and drama, passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 97.
A musicologist Dr. Richard Taruskin passed away on July 1, 2022 at the age of 77.
The Inamori Foundation opened the applications for the 2023 Inamori Research Grants on July 1, 2022. The application is open until August 31, 2022, 17:00 (JST).
