Elucidation of the neural mechanisms underlying social exclusion behavior
Summary
"Social exclusion", an increasingly severe issue in modern society, is a common phenomenon observed in both humans and animals. This behavior is believed to involve the dopamine reward system of the brain. However, the precise mechanisms by which this system drives exclusionary behavior remain elusive. To address this, we will elucidate the relationship between the diversity of the dopamine reward system and exclusionary behavior in mice. Furthermore, by integrating AI-based theoretical analysis with the experimental validation of the factors identified therein, we aim to establish a foundation for novel interventions against exclusionary behavior and discrimination.

Message

We take on the challenge of unraveling the mystery of "social exclusion", a phenomenon universally present across human and animal societies. To achieve this, we employ a synergistic approach combining mouse experiments centered on the dopamine reward system of the brain with the construction of AI-agent-based virtual societies. Through the power of this interdisciplinary integration, we are committed to building a foundation for novel interventions against the discrimination and exclusion pervasive in society, thereby pioneering transformative developments in this field.
