Summary: The elderly population is projected to peak in 2040, with healthcare needs expected to increase significantly. There is a demand for the development and retention of nurses with high clinical competence. In the foundational nursing education to date, a clinical faculty's system utilizing nurses practicing in clinical settings has been incorporated._x000D_
This study will conduct a questionnaire survey to examine the actual state of clinical faculty's instruction of nursing students. It will also use interviews to clarify the difficulties clinical faculty face and the support they seek from university faculty. Furthermore, it will identify challenges for developing guidelines to facilitate collaboration between clinical faculty and university faculty.

Message

I am deeply honored to have been selected for the Inamori Research Grant. In the medical field, there is an increasing expectation for nurses to play an even greater role. I want to devote myself wholeheartedly to my research, hoping to contribute in some small way to the development of future nurses.
