Hierarchical committee architecture for efficient cross-shard communication
Keyword
Summary
Blockchain sharding is a promising approach for improving the scalability of blockchain systems. In this approach, a blockchain network is divided into several groups, which are called shards, and transactions are processed in parallel within each shard. However, communication costs between shards (i.e., cross-shard communication) increase as the number of shards increases. Therefore, this study aims to propose a hierarchical sharding architecture for efficient cross-shard communication.

Message

The scalability of blockchain systems has become a critical challenge as they are increasingly adopted in various fields such as healthcare and information security. This study aims to propose a hierarchical sharding architecture to address scalability issues in blockchain systems. Upon receiving this research grant, I will further devote myself to advancing this research and contributing to the field.
