Establishment of indirect ubiquitinating agents towards targeted degradation of transcription factors
Keyword
Summary
Molecular technologies that degrade specific proteins are attracting attention as a novel platform for drug discovery. In this study, I aim to establish "indirect ubiquitination”that enables targeted degradation of transcription factors which are implicated in various diseases including cancer but have been considered undruggable. I expect that this work would pioneer new drug discovery strategies for a wide variety of diseases that have been considered difficult to treat.

Message

I believe ubiquitin is a fascinating protein involved in a wide range of biological processes—the more I learn about it, the more intriguing it becomes. I will keep striving to deepen my understanding of ubiquitin and conduct research that contributes to the advancement of life sciences and biotechnology.
