Development of High-Entropy Metal–Organic Frameworks via Continuous Flow Synthesis
Keyword
Summary
This study focuses on the synthesis of high-entropy metal–organic frameworks (HE-MOFs), a novel class of materials featuring a solid-solution state of five or more distinct metal ions. By utilizing continuous-flow synthesis, which enables rapid reaction under high temperature and high pressure conditions, I aim to achieve multi-element solid-solution state, which is challenging for conventional methods. This research explores the emergence of unprecedented functionalities, such as exceptional gas adsorption/separation, catalytic activity, and ion conductivity, that surpass the limitations of traditional single-metal MOFs.
