I have pursued research with the aim of capturing and understanding phenomena that have been difficult to measure by using spectroscopy, often described as the “eyes of science.” My previous work has focused primarily on a variety of photoreactions and photofunctions. In the grant-supported project, I aim to extend the scope of this approach further and develop it into a study that enables flexible and precise analysis of multistep mixing reactions. Although I am currently affiliated with the field of chemistry, I believe that achieving a sustainable society, one of the shared challenges facing humanity in the 21st century, requires research that transcends disciplinary boundaries and is conducted from a broad perspective. In this project, I will build on my strength in laser spectroscopy while also incorporating the perspective of fluid science to pursue research that will reshape our understanding of chemical reactions.
