I conduct policy research on food, agriculture, rural areas, and related topics. I take a social scientific approach based on an economic perspective, incorporating political, public administrative, sociological, and historical insights and perspectives, among others, to theoretically and empirically elucidate issues relating to food, agricultural, and rural policy.
