Study and control of epitaxial growth through Graphene
I will develop a technology to cleanly stack 2D materials such as graphene on 3D materials. It is a delicate operation that concerns atomic-level debris, but I will work steadily to develop it using an ultra-high vacuum environment.
There are a wide range of applications for such a clean interface, and in this research, I will work on microscopic clarification of "remote epitaxy," in which crystal growth is said to proceed through 2D materials.

It is a detailed and difficult research, but I would like to make an effort to reach a technology and material that can be used by many people.
