Summary
The recent breakthrough in machine learning as well as the availability of cloud computing enable a various business and personal services. To fully utilize the state-of-art technologies, the quality and quantity of training data are critically important. These set of data, however, may contain privacy information of individuals and the data themselves are invaluable assets for organizations, which prevent the wide adoption of the public machine learning. In this research, I will design privacy-preserving machine learning algorithms that securely process encrypted training data in distributed databases over multiple clouds.
