Development of easily degradable acrylic resins with controlled tacticity
Our research group has succeeded in synthesizing poly(alkoxycarbonylmethylene), which has a structure similar to that of poly(meth)acrylic esters, which are industrially used as acrylic resins. Recently, it was found that poly(alkoxycarbonylmethylene) degrades under relatively mild conditions. Based on these results, this study aims to explore the application of poly(alkoxycarbonylmethylene) as a readily degradable plastic by attempting to control its stereoregularity to improve its material properties.


Although I have received various grants so far, this is the first time that we have received comments from a reviewer. I feel humbled and very encouraged by the content, and I would like to express my gratitude. I will do my best so that I can meet your expectations.
