Analysis of boundary value problems for fully nonlinear partial differential equations and its applications
Keyword
Summary
My research topic is a mathematical analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations describing various motions of objects such as interfaces separated by two different phases of matter. In the grant period, I was interested in how the object contacts the boundary of a domain and considered boundary value problems for which there has not been a mathematical foundation. On the basis of the theory of viscosity solutions, which is a notion of solutions defined for possibly non-differentiable functions, I studied a unique existence of solutions and a representation formula of the solution by game-theoretic interpretation.
