Research topics
Exploring functions and clinical relevance of minor T-cell subsets in lymphoma
Summary
Lymphoma is a prevalent hematologic malignancy. In this study, we aim to investigate the biological and clinical significance of changes in follicular T cells in lymphomas, various solid cancers, and human lymph nodes, by conducting single-cell analysis in combination with functional experiments. We explore the potential for clinical and therapeutic applications.

Message

We will strive to achieve results that contribute to the improvement of understanding human lymphoma immunity.

Outline of Research Achievments

We performed a comprehensive analysis of tumor-infiltrating T cells in follicular lymphoma using single-cell RNA sequencing, in vitro functional assays, multiplex immunostaining (multiplex digital spatial profiling), spatial single-cell gene expression analysis, and clinical data (prognostic) analysis. Through these approaches, we identified minor T-cell populations within the tumor, characterized their gene expression profiles and anti-lymphoma activity, elucidated their mechanisms of action, explored their cellular origins and inducing factors, and established their prognostic significance.
