I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the support for my challenging research. We will continue to work hard to achieve my research objectives.

Outline of Research Achievments

Pt nanoparticles (~3 nm) have been widely used as the standard performance electrocatalyst for O2 reduction reactions. However, the low utilization efficiency of the Pt atoms should be improved to enhance the electrocatalytic reaction. In this study, we successfully developed Pt nanosheets with a two-atomic thickness (~0.5 nm). The Pt nanosheet shows higher ORR activity and durability than 3 nm Pt nanoparticles.
