Genetic diversity has been suggested to have the potential to increase population productivity. On the other hand, it is not known what type of diversity is important for improving productivity. Thus, it is difficult for us to utilize genetic diversity efficiently. In the present study, we are planning to identify genetic diversity that contributes to improve productivity in a duckweed.
