Development of fluorescent sensors for visualization of the dynamics of cytokine receptor ligands
A variety of signaling molecules are shuttling in the extracellular environment within the body, but real-time recording of their dynamics within living organisms and tissues remains challenging. To address this issue, I am striving to develop "fluorescent sensors" that show the changes in the fluorescence signal upon detection of extracellular signaling molecules. My goal is to gain insight into the precise dynamics of signaling molecules that are associated with various physiological functions and pathologies.

It is very delightful to encounter unexpected phenomena when observing with my original tools.
