Summary
Organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), a representative device of the organic electronics field, have been widely accepted in the display market today. In this situation, an emerging technology, organic semiconductor laser (OSLD), is expected to become a post-OLED. OSLD, which generates laser oscillation of organic materials by current excitation, have just been realized in 2019, and future research on it is required from various aspects such as material science, device physics, and optics. In this research, we aim to create organic laser dyes consisting of various molecular skeletons and realize high-performance devices.

Comment

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for being selected for the Inamori Research Grant. I am very honored and humbled to have the support of this Grant. I would like to develop my research so that I can contribute to the field of organic lasers in terms of both basic science and applied science.
