Elucidating the regulatory factors of beige adipose cell proliferation
Summary
Beige fat cells increase energy expenditure via heat generation. Hence, it has been considered that beige fat cells are therefore a potential novel therapeutic target for the treatment of obesity and type 2 diabetes. However, the physiological roles of these cells remain unclear due to the heterogeneity of adipose tissue. The present study aims to examine and elucidate the regulatory mechanisms of beige fat cells.

Message

We would like to propose interventions based on fat cells that contribute to the prevention and improvement of lifestyle-related diseases.
