The mechanism of beige adipocytes induction reduction under obesity by single-cell analysis
Keyword
Summary
Beige adipocytes are thought of promising the treatment for obesity and type2 diabetes by increasing energy consumption heat. Even in human cold acclimation also induces beige adipocytes. Obesity strongly inhibits the induction of beige adipocytes, but the molecular mechanism is poorly understood. Recently we revealed that beige adipocytes have subtypes. In this study, we focus on cell subtypes using single cells and aim to elucidate the mechanism of how obesity inhibits the induction of beige adipocytes.
